First Aid Courses – Advanced
Advanced high risk first aid training not found within a basic first aid course
These are not standard first aid courses
We have identified a lack of advanced workplace first aid courses within the high risk industry. To address this we have devised these course types to meet the need for workers to be prepared when a medical event occurs. The content within all of these courses uses approved methods and are in line with current New Zealand Resuscitation Council guidelines.
For basic first aid with NZQA units we recommend St Johns or Red Cross.

Our teaching style
Some people learn more effectively with verbal, written or visual teaching, others are more practical and learn by doing.
At the outset of each course we make an assessment on what type of learner each student is and then teach the course in a way that maximises learning and retention.
It’s taken over a decade of experience to hone this method and it works very well for most students.
